History
The Arts Club was founded in 1863 as a meeting place for men and women involved in the creative arts, both professionally and as patrons, originally at 17 Hanover Square before moving to its 18th-century townhouse on Dover Street. The building was damaged by bombing in World War II and subsequently rebuilt, and the club opened its first international outpost in Dubai in 2020.
