History
Home House occupies a Grade I-listed late-18th-century townhouse at 20 Portman Square, begun by James Wyatt in 1776 and completed by Robert Adam from 1777. The building later housed Samuel Courtauld's art collection and the Courtauld Institute of Art from 1931 to 1989. It has operated as a private members' club since 1998, and was extended into an adjacent property in 2010.
