History

Annabel's opened on 4 June 1963 in the basement of 44 Berkeley Square, founded by Mark Birley and named after his then-wife Lady Annabel Vane-Tempest-Stewart. It became one of London's most fashionable nightclubs, frequented by British and international society. Mark Birley sold it to Richard Caring in 2007, and in late 2018 the club reopened in a restored Georgian townhouse at 46 Berkeley Square.
