The Garrick Club votes to admit women for the first time in its history

In May 2024 members of the Garrick Club, founded in 1831, voted to admit women for the first time, ending nearly two centuries of male-only membership. The decision passed by roughly a 60:40 margin following a closed-door debate at the London club.
