Restaurateur Nick Jones opened the first Soho House above his Café Bohème restaurant in London in 1995. In 2003 he opened Soho House New York, the group's first location outside the UK, with 24 bedrooms, a cinema, bar, restaurant, Cowshed spa and private members' club.
