Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina earns Five Gold Anchor accreditation
Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina has secured Five Gold Anchor status — the top tier of the international Gold Anchor scheme — at its first independent assessment, underlining Saudi Arabia's growing standing on the global yachting map.
Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina has been awarded Five Gold Anchor accreditation, the highest rating in the international Gold Anchor scheme, achieving the top tier at its first independent assessment. The programme is run by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) and jointly administered with the Marina Industries Association (MIA).
Set on the Jeddah waterfront in Saudi Arabia, the marina offers 94 berths and can accommodate yachts of up to 120 metres. Its facilities include private lounges, meeting spaces, a beach club, a fitness centre and hospitality venues, with King Abdulaziz International Airport close by.
The Gold Anchor assessment rates marinas against criteria spanning operational management, customer service, berth infrastructure, maintenance standards, environmental stewardship, safety procedures and staff professionalism — the highest grade reserved for facilities that excel across all of them.
“A proud milestone for Jeddah and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reinforcing the Red Sea’s growing position on the global yachting map and supporting the ambitions of Vision 2030 to develop a world-class maritime and tourism sector,” said Oriel Blake, Marine Operations Director at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina.
The marina sits adjacent to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, home of the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and forms part of the Kingdom's wider Vision 2030 drive to build out its maritime and tourism sectors along the Red Sea coast.
